Some of these paintings also appear in the ‘Assorted Paintings’ portfolio. All were either painted during or inspired by trips to Spain.

Antonio’s paintings were given to Antonio López García as a thank you gift for him and his daughter Maria after my 2/22/18 visit to his studio.

The still lifes are studies for the Madrid Interior painting.

The last are four of the six small paintings I made during a residency at the Fundación Valparaíso in Mojácar, Almeria in May of 2009.

Antonio gave me the quince when I visited him in Nov. 2008. It was picked from the tree in his yard.
